Online Learning - How It Works
The NCMS Online classes are in asynchronous format. This
means that the classes you are viewing are not live, but
pre-recorded. The advantage of this is that you can view your
on-line class more conveniently, any time of day, any day of the
week during your access period.
The process begins before you make your purchase. While
you are on this web site we encourage you to try running the
FREE Demonstration classes. If you can run the demonstration
class you should be able to run a class you purchase. At this
time if you do have problems, you should feel free to contact us
before you make your purchase so we can help you prepare your
system for your online learning experience.
The next step in the process is the purchase. You can add
a number of items into your shopping cart and finalize your
transaction. Once you have made your purchase a member of the
Customer Care Team (a real person) is notified. Once your
transaction is cleared the Customer Care Representative will
send you the instructions for accessing your class. This usually
occurs less than 24 hours.
Once you have your instructions you can begin at any
time. It is important to note, however, that once you have made
your purchase your access to the class will expire in 30 days.
If you do not take your class within 30 days of purchase you
could be charged up to the full price of the class again for
additional access.
To begin your online class you simply need to go to the
hyperlink provided and then enter the username and password
given to you. Once you do that, the class should begin to
buffer. When your class has buffered you then need to click on a
link to start the class.
The NCMS Online classes are a single user only license.
If you have a need for providing these classes to multiple
users, please contact us for further information. |
