Dan White

Dan White was a Partner and National Director of the Technology Risk Management practice at Grant Thornton LLP, the sixth largest public accounting and consulting firm in the US.

He established the Technology Risk Management Line of Business, which includes information security, information technology support for Audit practice, and security and control consulting, is responsible for business development and delivery, methodology development, and integration with both the audit and consulting practices.

Dan is a senior information systems executive with substantial experience in evaluating and managing technology risk. He has a strong business focus with particular expertise in application of technology to address business needs as well as systems planning. His broad experience over the past 30 years in systems development, domestic and international operations is now being made available to NCMS customers in the series Managing Information Technology for Competitive Advantage.

A MBA graduate of Loyola University, Mr. White later received his CPA certification from the University of Illinois. He serves on AICPA's Systems Reliability Task Force, and the Business Continuity Planning Institute.
