Johnny Jones

Mr. Jones has been involved in laser research and education for over twenty years. He now serves as a laser safety lecturer and consultant for Rockwell Laser Industries. He previously was on staff at the Advanced Lasers and Systems Technology Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) where he was involved in system development in the areas of IR countermeasures and LIDAR for military applications. In addition to his other duties, he also served as a Laser Safety Officer for the Chemical and Laser Sciences Division at LANL. Johnny was also a faculty member and Department Chairman of the country's first laser/electro-optics education program at Texas State Technical Institute.
