Final Report of NCMS Project No. 160702 (December 1998)

This 60-page report details project activities in the development and detailed design of a magnified image projection expose tool capable of producing 1-mil lines and spaces. This tool would be well suited to printed wiring board, laminate chip carrier (single and multi-chip module laminate), and chip-scale packaging manufacturing without the drawbacks of current alternatives such as contact printing and laser direct imaging.
